Crochet is making a big comeback this summer (again!). Handmade, vintage, crochet, macrame (you get it, that Daisy Jones and the Six look) are all having a moment. Walmart handled the assignment with this comfy top from No Boundaries.

I couldn’t resist this crochet top from Walmart to use as a swimsuit coverup. It was also giving me music festival vibes, would be awesome for that too! Also available in black and a pale sage. Best part? It’s under $20 from No Boundaries.
And those shorts! (also under $20) They’re back from Sofia Vergara’s line this season and I love them. They are heavily distressed, with 99% cotton, 1% spandex, nice give-but more like traditional denim. Sizes available are 2 through 20. Runs tts, I’m wearing a 10 and they have a relaxed fit on me, perfect for layering over bikini bottoms. Under this link, there is also a medium wash with no distressing, but a raw hem.
I thought this bag was a nice compliment to the crochet. It’s an all-cotton woven tote with tassels. Size is 16″ x 15″ with one open compartment and snap closure. Colors also include a lavender and melon, black has already sold out. My pick, though, was the blue to wear with the light wash denim. I’ve also included some of my other favorites I’ve spied at Walmart.
Other shorts that are currently under $20 at Walmart include some of my go-to’s in heavy rotation. If you like cuff shorts, try this one from Time & Tru – it has a medium wash with a typical mid-rise fit. There is also a darker wash and black under this link. Free Assembly ($18) also has a cuff style that I like. But, this embroidery pair is currently what’s in my cart.
To complete the look 🩴I have included some of the bikini’s I have my eye on. Time and Tru swimsuits generally fit me tts, but I love that they are sold individually, so I can customize my fit. This asymmetrical bikini top($21) and matching bottoms($19) won’t last long. It has that “crinkle” look that we are seeing a lot in swimsuits right now.
