Transitioning into your Fall wardrobe can be a little tricky when you live in Texas. There’s a chill in the air, but then by 3 o’clock it’s hot again. That’s why I really love this Lace + Leather look. If you’re opposed to wearing real leather don’t worry, there are tons of faux options out there. As a matter of fact, mine is a poly-blend.This look gives enough of the Fall feel without running around in fur boots and a turtleneck when it’s 80 degrees outside. This killer vest is from ADORE and the lace tank underneath is Sweet Journey (I got this at the cutest boutique “One Hip Mom”. I always have the best luck when I shop there). I like incorporating the tiny touch of lace to still keep this look feminine.
I really love the casualness of a vest. It comes across like you aren’t trying too hard… you’re cool, you’re in a vest. A lot of winter pieces can be little pricey, but they are an investment. Trust me, you’ll be wearing this all fall & winter long.
